Summer Sunshine

I LOVE SUMMER TIME!

Here in the NYC/NYS area we have the best Summers!  There is nothing like 

warm sunshine, bright orange/red sunsets and the sound of the grill cooking!

I love all four seasons but Summer time by far is my favorite :)  I'm not a fan 

of any type of extreme weather but as long as I can enjoy the outdoors 

without having to wear heavy clothing, I'm a very happy camper.

We were in North Truro during the 4th of July holiday weekend.  

I absolutely love love love the New England region! 

I'd like to reinvent myself and come back as a Kennedy.  Maybe

they'd be interested in adopting a 51 year old...soon to be 52??

That would be an interesting storyline for one of the major networks!

I guess one of the favorite reality shows today is American Idol. Many of us have always wanted to do just what these kids are trying to do, live their dream. I have to admit most of the contestants have the same amount of talent that I process. I can't believe that so many people can get on national television and make complete fools of themselves, although it is very entertaining. As I sit in front of my www.directstartv.com and watch the show, I can't help but feel the new judges are really a benefit to the show. Randy is his usual witty self, Steven Tyler has a true gift for music and Jennifer Lopez is beautiful and compassionate. The show has laughter as well as many tears. My heart breaks for some of the kids, as they try so hard and the pressure must be overwhelming. When it finally gets down to the final few, I have my favorite and most of the time they make it to the final. The fans of the show vote for their favorites and in the end, they usually choose the right one, who goes on to become a popular recording artist. It really keeps you watching week after week.

What happened to Spring 2011??

So last week on Friday March 18th 2011 we had record temperatures of 70 degrees in the NY tristate area. Yesterday we had snow? Tomorrow 3/23/11 there calling for a snowstorm? I'm so over the COLD!! I don't like it anymore & I'm ready to move back to Florida. No matter where you live, you can't escape Mother Nature but this has been the worst Winter since 1996!!  We've had over 50 inches of snow!!

My son's 32nd birthday

So today my son turns 32!! I look at myself & I have hard time imagining that I have a 32 year old!! I was a teen Mom when I had him, all of 18 years old.  Our birthdays are 2 days apart.  He's 3/15 & I'm 3/17.  He's brought me many years of happiness along with many years of sadness but I guess it's what life is all about? You don't have to be a neurosurgeon to figure that one out.
