This is a great place to live but it is soooo soooo BORING!!

Here we are in the 3rd week of January 2010 & time just keeps MOVING MOVING MOVING!

Enjoy each day as much as you can 'cause time stands still for no one.

Ever Feel Like........

I'm sure you've all felt at one time or another that doors

just kept on closing for you?

It's a really NOT TOO GOOD feeling to experience

but I know we've all been there one time or another.

Things just seem to go like that for a while. 

Sometimes it can happen for days, months or even years.

Just one obstacle after another.....but we have to keep plugging away. 

Often times it seems that everyone else is getting the breaks

you've been working really hard for....people that don't even do the footwork to

get where they are in life. 

We can't think along those lines though. 

We can't judge someone until we've lived thier life, experienced

what they've experienced.....albeit that there are people

who are just born into wealth, position

and just plane ole' being at the right place at the right time.

I mean if you look at these REALTY TV celebs.....

what the HECK gives them celebrity status???

The fact that they've made a SOFT-PORN tape?

The fact that their parents own HOTELS??

Half of these so called CELEBS have nothing going for them....

besides the name of a has been

parent who defended OJ Simpson...

or something along that line.

Look at the people around you....everyday hard

working people that have more to offer a

REALTY TV SHOW than so many of these others.

All I know is this....

I have more character & life experience

to offer than any of these so called CELEBS.

So hats off to each and everyone of

you for being regular, everyday people!!

Let's all stand up and give ourselves a round

of APPLAUSE for being who we are & not

hanging on the COAT TAILS of people

 to get a moment of CELEBRITY STATUS!!

Summer 2009 - Now it's 2010

Now that went FAST!!!!

So overall....I'd say I'm aging gracefully

I'm in the later part of my forties now. I don't like using the word "end" cause because it just gives out the impression that it's the "end." I took this silly picture of myself in my kitchen last night January 15, 2010. The lighting is slightly off but you can get the general gist of what I look like.

It's just a picture of me being me. I'm just a regular white-collar office administrator type of worker. No designer labels or handbags for me. That doesn't define who we are as people. What defines us is our character. I say forget all that BS, keep it real & live a simple life. Less is BEST!!

Starting my New Years Resolution

So today, as January 1st 2010 comes to a close I start to think about my resolutions for this new year.

I'd like to lose at least ten pounds by the second week of February....I'd like to....

I'm going to be very serious about not eating too much bread, rice or pasta.

I've done this before....but I was also younger :)

When I put my mind to something I do it.  It doesn't happen overnight but it happens.
