One day before Halloween 2010.  Like I've said before and I'll say again.....where does time go?? This has been the 64 thousand 

dollar question.  We have a total of eight weeks left before 2011.  A matter or 57 days, one thousand three hundred sixty eight 

(1, 368) hours.  I learned a long time ago to not waste 

my time on anything or any situation that didn't 

proved to be productive to me.  

Being stuck is not an option in my world.

The Clutz that I am

So these past few months I've been one big accident waiting to happen.  Back in May I ran into a closed screen door....yes I said closed, you didn't read a typo!!


My husband has a bad habit of keeping doors open.  We have our two little dogs & when the door is open out to the deck they always run out.  So this one time he closes the door and I ran into it to chase after my dogs who both ran out.


The screen door came crashing onto my nose and I banged my right knee into the door very hard!! I'm glad he finally listened to me but the timing couldn't have been worse!!


Now fast forward to July.....two weeks ago today I had two titanium dental implants placed in my gum on the bottom right side.  I looked like a chipmunk for the first week.  I wasn't a happy camper to say the least but our insurance covered the dental work so it's all good.

Halfway through Summer 2010

It almost felt like just yesterday I was complaining about how cold it was....today I'm looking forward to the Fall!!


It goes like that.  We often seem to look ahead and not look at what's in front of us today.  I know I do.  Overall, this Summer has been going really well.  My husband & I have gone away a few times so far and we have a few more weekend trips that we'll be taking before Labor day weekend.


We've made the rounds of family BBQ's, caught an amazing sunset overlooking the Mohonk  mountains in the scenic Hudson valley and travelled up to Massachusetts....(that is just one word that I'm better off abbreviating! - thank goodness for spellcheck :) just yesterday.

So today my husband & I picked up our new 5th wheel camper!! It's so nice!!  I can't wait to go traveling to see different places.  We both love to travel & this was the ideal choice for us.  Hotels can be expensive so for an additional tax write off we now get to go on great vacations and weekend getaways that won't break the bank!!


Thank you God for all of your blessings.  I know you will keep us safe on our journeys.

Have you ever gotten really pissed off with other people? Who hasn't right?  Well, my motto is "screw 'em."  I'm not giving anyone else that much power over me.  People are who they are & by nature, most people stay the same.  It's either you accept them for who they are or you don't deal with them.

In a perfect world, no one would have to deal with anyone that we didn't care for.  In the real world, that just doesn't happen.

Meanspirited people & these hideous reality TV shows

So I made the mistake of watching that stupid show, Real Housewives of New Jersey & let me just say this....those women are absolutely hideous!! They display childish, immature behavior & the worst one is that woman Teresa.  I mean that girl is absolute TRASH!! If they think they are doing anyone justice by being on TV they are sadly mistaken.


First & foremost, I think they all need to be evaluated by high end psychiatrists'....doctors who specializes in personality disorders, then they should all go to confession for their grotesque behavior.


I'm sorry but if I had a daughter, she would not behave like these "people."  I wouldn't even dignify them by calling them ladies because honey, their behavior is definitely not LADYLIKE!!


The other housewife shows are just as bad & they are all done in very poor taste.

So how can I sell my product & advertise it for a large scale audience?? I'll find out very soon.
All I do know is this....there's a lot of $$ to be made in ads....if you're selling a product that the public wants to consume

So my Neanderthal husband and his bushy eyebrow issue has yet again been a cause for an argument.  He's like a five year old who doesn't like to take a bath when it comes to so many different things.  I have no patience for his stupidity & his lack of personal grooming.  I'm very much a girlie girl when it comes to my appearance & to be with someone who doesn't take care of small things is ANNOYING!! Anyhow, it's nothing life threatening or major.....he's just a sloppy, unkempt man who sometimes needs to be reminded about his appearance.  He'll figure it out one day.....as the saga continues!!

If you ever wonder......

So have you ever asked yourself the following questions?? What came first, the chicken or the egg?? Just kidding!!! If I knew the answer to that I'd probably be God.  Who by the way is my higher power.  Now getting back to asking yourself questions about certain things....let's see....I have a few.

First I'd like to learn how to understand time.  I know time moves in a cyclical manner.  Throughout history calendars have been marked according to weather/climate changes and in reference to religious/ceremonial traditions.

For the life of me I just can't explain how the days move so quickly.  The only explanation I can come up with is this......I'm always so busy and my days are filled up with many different responsibilities that time just moves like the speed of lighting.  I guess for others, their days move just as quickly and for some....their days just drag & drag. 

I'd like to be in the middle of this time dilemma I've been having.....any & all suggestions would be greatly appreciated

DISH-FUNK-SHUN-AL SITUATIONS

Ok, so I'm sure we've all been there....a dysfunctional family,

a dysfunctional work situation, a dysfunctional relationship.

For me on a personal note,

I don't want dysfunction.  I've had enough of it,

I'm done as far as that goes - stick a fork in me on that note...

been there enough times & I don't want to buy a T-shirt!!

So recently what I've learned is this.....
I can remove myself from dysfunction

and not hurt anyone's feelings!!

It all works out in the end so that's all that matters.

So....my message to anyone in a dysfunctional situation is this....

work on improving your interpersonal skills so that you

can bow out gracefully with your head held high.

If you can't bow out then RUN!! RUN LIKE

your pants are on FIRE!!

As we enter into Easter Sunday - April 4th 2010

I always reminisce about holidays when I was a child. 

I always remember my Mom dressing us up in our Sunday best.  We'd have our little Easter bonnets on with matching pocketbooks.

Time has moved so fast and it always reminds me of how important each day is. 

I remember coloring eggs the night before Easter and wondering how big my Easter basket would be. 

As a child I didn't know the true meaning of Easter, other than it being a holiday where I received a basket filled with high octane sugar filled goup. 

We did go to Catholic school and I did learn about the sacraments....but when your only eight years old you

don't have the mindset to absorb the true

meaning of the importance of such events.
