People who don't like dogs

I'm a dog lover.  To me, people who dislike

dogs are not nice

 people.  Dogs are family members. 

 I guess for people who hate

dogs...they must have gotten bit

 on their ass or something? 

Who knows? 

People are so weird sometimes. 

It's no wonder why certain people

can't connect with others? 

Fear? 

Mental health issues? 

I never met anyone

who hated dogs...oh well,

that's their loss!

These two little dogs I have a like my shadow!! 

Wherever I go in

my house they are right behind me...

or they jump up on me when

I'm sitting on a sofa or a loveseat. 

They seem to like the softer spots. 

They are just so so cute!!

It was a good weekend...

filled with many different activities. 

I'm glad the weather was nice. 

Seeing the kids always makes the time seem to go even quicker. 

I feel like I'm shrinking when I see them

because they keep getting bigger & bigger.

They are great kids & no,

I'm not shrinking they're just having growth spurts !

I try to always be happy...it's not easy...but I try. I'm no Mary Sunshine but I learned a long time ago to go with the flow...otherwise the flow will drown ya!!

A beautiful September Day....I so love the Mid-Hudson bridge. Today was a day to remember...the weather was perfect. Not too warm, not too cold...just perfect.

Fall is almost here....

This is a picture I took in my backyard a few years ago.  It will be the Fall season here in the United States in four days...

The clock keeps moving....unless we can suspend ourselves in a still frame of suspended animation we all have to continue to change with the passing of time.

Today....

I think we all feel that our lives are very difficult at times...too many things to do & not enough time for our committments....but today I heard from a friend that I hadn't talked to in awhile.  She too is having a hard time.  Her husband has health issues that need immediate attention.

I will keep them both in my prayers.  I really don't like to see people suffer.  It just does something to me on a personal level.  I don't know, maybe I'm just too sensitive?  Maybe I over internalize situations too much? I don't know what it is.  I thought it was my "age"....good old menopause but I've been like this my whole life!!

I babysit for my great nieces & nephews.  My one little great niece is so sweet.  I had two spinal fusions & I was telling her & her brother about my surgeries.  After I told the story she started to cry!  I guess it's something that we either have as individuals or we don't. 

People should try to be nice to others.....it seems to be such a far stretch....but it does make a difference.

Helping a friend

A few months ago I helped a friend out.  She was having a pre-operative procedure done and she didn't

have anyone to pick her up so I offered to do that.

All along I felt very uneasy about her health issue.  Turns out she needed additonal surgery to correct the first thing that caused her to have this test.  Now I just found out from her that she's had a second surgery, all related to the same health concern. 

I will say this, I am the biggest pain in the ASS when it comes to dealing with doctors.  I go into their office with a laundry list of questions to be answered & diagnostic tests that they should order.  I hate to say this but most doctors are text book followers.

I just want to put this out there because you REALLY have to be your own ADVOCATE when it comes to seeking out the proper medical care.

I hope & pray for the best outcome for my dear friend, as well as anyone else dealing with issues in life that come up.

September 11th 2009

Today was a very sad day, I'm glad this day has come to a close.  911 will always be a very painful day for me, no matter what is going on in my life.
I miss Peter.  He was such a big part of my life. 

God rest  your soul.  I will see you when I get there.  XXXOOO

Today is September 10th 2009 - one day before the 8th annivesary of the 911 attacks.  I miss my ex-husband Peter Alexander Bielfeld.  He would have been 52 years old this year.  It's so sad.  I think of him everyday.  God rest your soul Peter, miss you, XXXOOO

Me today September 2nd 2009

Summer 2009 is almost over...how fast time keeps moving....tick tock....tick tock....before we know it it'll be Christmas....then 2010 will be here!!

I hope we have an Indian Summer here in the Northeast...our Summer was a wet, damp one this year.

Oh well, such is life.

Now I often ask myself....where did time go?? I was about 15 years old in this picture....I'll be 50 years old God willing in March!! WOW!!
