Dear Self

Could you believe this bs?

I do. Every bit of it.

People were sold a bag of dreams that have turned into a nightmare. Disappointed is putting it mildly.

Which leads me to the story of my life. Disappointments, awh poor little Patti😅 booh hoo, how have I survived this treacherous world we live in??

I'm trying to find the answer to that exact question …

Seriously, when I replay events that I've unfortunately experienced, I pat myself on the back and say, DFWM stress agents in life!

Yes, some people can do that because it's on brand for their personalities to manipulate or provoke unavoidable situations.

Who knew blogging could be so much fun?

I always loved writing. I would jot notes down anywhere. I guess it's kind of korney but if you enjoy writing I guess you can relate to blogging.

Now, I'm no nobel laureate but I can get my thoughts out on paper....well, in todays' society, it's more apt to say getting my thoughts out across a screen, be it a hand held or a monitor.

I wrote another song over a year ago. I actually have quite a few songs that I've written. I try to work with artists to make demos. Demos are just a way to see what type of talent you have....at least that's what I've been told. I like the style of this new demo...when it's finished I'll put it up on myspace and on a few of the other sites where I have my music. I'm the lyricists, if you heard me sing you run & hide!!

This is what I love doing....I'll keep doing what I enjoy, writing songs & being creative!!

So now as the earth continues to rotate on it's axis and we move into another New Year of 2010 I'm very happy to say that I am truly blessed. The most important thing to me in my very humble opionion is that I have my health, my son & husband are healthy & we're all in good spirits.

I don't need anything. My basic needs are all met. Yes, I do admire my high end designer pocket books & I will "maybe" buy a Louis Vuitton for my "50th" birthday but.....do I need a Louie Vuitton?? The answer to that $64,000 question is NO!!

I have more than what I need and less of what I don't need in my life.

I am enjoying this stage of life immensely.

I've never been a petty person...I have on occasion parlayed in some meanless gossip but there was never any malice intent on my part. I've always been the type of person to avoid gossip about others. I could honestly care less about what other people do, unless in fact their actions/behavior has a direct impact on my life & at this point in life my world has become very small.
